Affordable Outfit For Travel + Exploring in London

Hi friends! Happy Monday!

While in London, I met up with Victoria to do a little walk around one of my favorite neighborhoods one day, Chelsea! We met up at Albert Bridge to shoot my easy Spring look, perfect for a long day of walking around exploring, as it’s a spot in London that I don’t see get a lot of attention but very much deserves it! It’s an absolutely stunning bridge. For the average tourist, I’d understand why you wouldn’t go out of your way to see it but, while I was living here, I was in a taxi and we drove by it and couldn’t get my jaw off the ground. Take a look at these images here. The lights and the pink make me swoon! There’s not much in terms of monuments around it but, if you have an extra day and want to walk around the Chelsea neighborhood, get dropped off here and then walk directly away from it! 🙂 Put The Ivy into your phone and go enjoy a delicious meal there. I particularly love their Shepherd’s Pie. More on London restaurants HERE.

This outfit is perfect for everyday and particular great for a long day of walking around a new city in the Spring. My jean jacket is old but I found a similar one that is so cute for under $50. My pink loafers are also not available. I got them from Tod’s last year in Venice but these are similar and really, really comfortable, as well as on sale! I reviewed them in the Spring Shoe Review last month!

I just arrived in Curacao yesterday afternoon! It’s a little island in the Caribbean, not far from the coast of Venezuela! I’m excited to explore but I’m also excited to just relax. My trip to Italy, as I’ve shared, took a lot out of me. It was a lot of gogogo so I’m really looking forward to seeing what this beautiful island has to offer in terms of beaches to lounge on 😉 If you have any recommendations, please leave a comment below! I’d love to hear them!

Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by! xo.

I love your David Yurman Albion ring. I would love to purchase one but I cannot decide between the 11×11 mm and the 14×14 mm

Are you wearing the 14×14? Did you purchase this at Nordstrom? Any help deciding between the 2 sizes?

Hi there! I have the 11 x 11 mm ring. I love the 14 x 14 mm but they never have a size 5 available in the color of that ring that I want. I love the 11 x 11mm that I have though. It goes with so much!

Alyson – Now that I know you wear the 11×11 in the David Yurman Albian ring I want to order it but I want to make sure
I’m ordering the same color that you own. On Nordstrom’s website the 11×11 is Item #1117818. Is the color that you own
called “Black Orchid”? It looks much more purple in the picture on the website. On your blog it looks much more dark
blue so before I order I just want to make sure. Thanks so much.

The link in your blog sends you to the David Yurman 14×14 size ring and the color they list for that size is
“Amethyst/Hematine” that’s why I am confused about the size and color.
