Alright, friends! I finally got around to another shoe review [it’s been a hot minute] and this time … it’s all about Fall boots and booties! It’s my first official Fall Shoe Review and, I’ve gotta say, I have a good list below. Instead of rating each pair as I’ve done in the past, I decided to show you more style options instead. I honestly really like each pair so the ratings all would have been high, and plus, I feel like Fall is the best season to show different outfit options. Since the style of shoe narrows to mainly sneakers, boots, and closed-toe options, I wanted to show the versatility through full looks.
And y’all, let’s get Florida on that Fall weather train because shooting these looks in 90-degree weather was … sweaty. I’m excited to share more of these in Maine this week, though, so come follow along on Instagram. Alright, let’s get into it!
Sam Edelman Loraine Loafers
I probably don’t need to say much here, and really I should just link to the endless Instagram images of me wearing these loafers [like here and here] because the love is REAL. These loafers are $120, which is obviously much cheaper than the Gucci lookalike and they are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. Which is saying a lot, because you know I love my shoes! These are my go-to’s for busy travel days when I’m going to be walking a lot as I’ve yet to get a blister from them. I have them in cognac which I gravitate towards in the Fall season, but I also have them in white which I wore non-stop in Spring and Summer [like here!].
While I have and love the Loriane style, the Sam Edelman Lior are VERY similar and come in endless finishes [think snakeskin, blush gold, black, etc.]. Super cute and I’m assuming just as comfy.

Sam Edelman Linnie Leather Slip-On Mules
These leather mules are another great Gucci knock-off. While I do think the Lorain Loafers [above] have slightly more padding, these mules aren’t uncomfortable. As with most mules, they just aren’t as secure or padded, ya know? I need to give myself more time to see if I truly love them and I’ll report back. For now, definitely a good transitional Fall shoe, especially for those of us in the South without much of a season. I snagged the black because I don’t have any black slides and wanted something that would look nice for meetings, etc., once Fall kicks in, or … fingers crossed! … I get my London Visa and will be experiencing more seasons soon! The saddle color [or, cognac] and bright white are cute too, though.

Steve Madden Jacey Over-the-Knee Boot
I am extremely impressed by these boots. They can easily be mistaken for Stuart Weitzman, in my opinion, but no … they’re not! I got the chestnut color but they also come in black and a snakeskin option! I haven’t worn them for a long period of time yet [thanks #Florida] – as I’m sure not many people have had to opt for over-the-knee boots yet – but I am excited to wear them throughout the season, especially up in Maine later this week! Going half size up with allow these to fit perfectly and give you some room to wear warm socks, if needed. I love the block heel. I feel like the thicker the block heel, the easier the boots are to wear for longer periods of time. You’ll need to spray these down with suede protectant spray and this brand is what I use on my boots.

Madewell The Regan Boot
If you looked up ‘perfect Fall bootie’ in the dictionary, pretty sure you’d see these beauties. They’re super comfortable, the block heel gives you height but is still low enough for everyday wear, they’re a mix of pointed/round toe … should I keep going? Freaking. LOVE. Y’all! I got the cognac color, which is versatile for Fall outfits and I already have about 47 combinations in my head [one of which was featured in this post from last week]. You’ll definitely be seeing these on repeat!

Marc Fisher Obrra Pointy Toe Bootie
If you’re a fan of a pointed look, which I am, I think you’ll like these ankle booties. This style is very London-friendly since the heel is low and they make for a comfortable day. I purchased these with Fall and Winter travel in mind and think they’ll get a lot of wear, especially when trying to add a bit of edge to a look. I also love that they’re leather so they can withstand potential moisture for those of you that, ya know, have seasons.

Vince Camuto Gigietta Bootie
These booties were a favorite purchase from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year. I feel like they have a strong chance of being my go-to. I absolutely love the split shaft style and they’re really easy to walk in. The product page says, if in between sizes, order 1/2 size up but I wear a 6.5 and think they fit fine! These also are probably my favorite pair of the snakeskin finish which they have in a dark and light finish. I also find that the ankle slit is flattering when wore with pants since it shoes of a hint of skin.

Golden Goose Superstar Sneakers
Breaking up the booties with these polarizing sneakers, ha! Say what you want about Golden Goose sneakers but I absolutely love them. They’re so fun to wear with dresses and on days where you’re craving a cool girl casual style. Yes, they’re pricey; they’re also incredibly unique and can be worn daily if you’re a sneaker lover. I love this color combination for Fall but am also crushing so hard on this camo & coffee combo. I love that the camo is subtle because I wouldn’t say that’s a pattern I opt for often. If you’ve been on the fence about GG in general, I’m 1000% a fan. If you’re not, I’ll link a few similar styles to GG’s that are easier on your bank account, because I do get it.
Fit | If you are a half size, size up. I wear a 6.5 and wear a 37 in Golden Goose Superstars.
Marc Fisher Ulani Bootie
Marc Fisher – one of my favorite shoe brands ever … can you tell?? You don’t sacrifice style or quality for comfort, you truly get it all. I purchased these ankle booties in white snakeskin [I know, a little different but I love them!] and the black suede [see the last outfit in this post]. This bootie style is so classy and sophisticated. I love that it covers your ankle more than most styles making it pair so well with sleek, elevated styles like faux leather pants and sassy date night dresses. And while the heel does have height, I don’t find them uncomfortable. Definitely my pick for spruced up a look!

Marc Fisher Alva Bootie
These Alva booties are one of my favorite silhouettes out of all of the booties featured here. I love that it has a slightly rounded point, a solid block heel, and completely covers your ankle but also let’s it breathe! A girl’s gotta breathe … am I right? I also love the color that I chose in these [light pink suede; available here] because they’re a bit different than what most people go for. These run true to size. They’re comfortable but I wouldn’t wear them on a day where you’re walking for miles or anything. This is your warning!

Gianni Bini Daveigh Cheetah Print Suede Studded Western Bootie
These booties might be my favorite shoe purchase as of late! How cute are they?! I love the level of sassy they bring to any outfit. They’re a fun way to mix up and elevate your Fall looks! I have only worn them once for about 10 minutes so give me some time to 100% tell you they’re comfortable but, no complaints so far! Another flattering open ankle fit, too, and I’m imagining them with both black and regular denim. Fun unique date-night option as well!

Gianni Bini Decie Leather Snakeskin Bootie
Is my obsession with animal print obvious yet? Because it’s real. And can you tell that I’m getting a little bored with the typical fall bootie purchases? I think these snakeskin booties are so fun. Like the cheetah print ones, they’re a fun little head-turner. Such a cool buckle detail and this color combo go with everything from black to gray to denim to camel. Love, love, love!

Vince Blair 5 Slip-On Sneakers
These shoes have gotten so much wear out of me over the last year. They are one of my go-to shoes for travel days because they are so comfortable and I can wear them for a long period of time without my feet killing me. I realize they’re a little pricey but I feel like I have gotten my money’s worth with these considering how much I’ve worn them. Definitely my casual choice from this list. From black to snakeskin to woodsmoke [ a neutral taupe ] , I kinda want them all.

Sam Edelman Leah Cap Toe Pumps
Don’t worry, I didn’t forget about pumps on the list! These are similar to Chanel options and I’ve been eying them for a while. I don’t tend to go with low heels but think there’s a sweet element to them that I just couldn’t resist. I think they’d be super cute with loose-fitting distressed denim and a fitted tee with a blazer and would be a great option for you office gals, as well! I have a narrow foot so, I appreciate that these cuties are adjustable. The closed-toe is obviously smart for Fall, too.
