Happy September!! I cannot believe I’m typing that out … can y’all? Part of me feels like summer flew by and the other part of me feels like we’re still stuck in April. Ha!
But here we are, starting out September and my favorite season … Fall! Obviously we don’t technically hit fall for a few weeks but here in London, I’m definitely getting little tastes of it. And I love it!!
Before I start sharing all the Fall things, I did want to round up August and what y’all were into. Not a big surprise that just about everything on this list was from the Nordstrom Sale which ended last weekend. While the sale is no longer happening, there’s still a good amount of these items in stock, which is great news if you’re interested in one of them!
10. Steve Madden Transport Studded Strappy Sandal
You girls love these studded sandals just as much as I do! In fact, this is a style I’ve worn for two seasons now and don’t plan on retiring them anytime soon. They’re great with jeans to add an edge to your look or with an otherwise basic outfit to spice things up a bit!
9. Halogen Long Sleeve Modal Blend Tee
Looks like everyone is starting to shop for fall layers based on this one! I adore this classic long sleeve tee and I have it in several colors [white, black, and striped] – I’m actually wearing it today with SPANX leggings. It’s thick enough that your bra doesn’t show through but thin enough to tuck in easily and to layer VERY nicely under cardigans, jackets, etc.
8. BP. Cozy Top
I’m glad so many of y’all were able to snag this comfy top from the #NSale! It is the SOFTEST. MATERIAL. EVER. and even without the sale price, it still comes in at $39. Do yourself a favor and try this top if you haven’t already. You’ll live in it on those cold fall days … I guarantee it.
7. Chelsea28 Cowl Neck Sweater
Another personal fave from the Nordstrom Sale, I’ve actually had this sweater for over a year now. The cowl neck is cozy and classic and I adore this orange shade that always reminds me of fall. It does come in more neutral colors if that’s your thing though! It’s not too long, so if you wanted to wear it over leggings and have more coverage, I’d size up. Otherwise, I like it TTS and often layer something under it for more length. It’s obviously super cute on its own as well, with jeans or whatever!
6. Vince Double Slit Mock Neck Sweater
While the sweater pictured isn’t the exact sweater that sold well in August, it’s very similar! Here’s the one that y’all loved in August. It’s on the pricier side but I look at this as a classic investment that will last you season after season. How gorgeous is it?!
5. Spanx Bra-llelujah Lightly Lined Tank Bralette
And this is how I know y’all are my people! After sharing this everyday bralette, I got so many DMs from the community saying that you were also a fan. It’s one of the most comfortable bralettes I’ve owned and I wear it most days of the week. I will say it’s not the most supportive option if you have a larger chest, but I do think it’s more supportive than most bralettes I’ve tried! The ‘Naked’ color hides well under all colors, including white, and the bralette comes in black, too.
4. Free People Afterglow Mock Neck Top
I’m always a sucker for a good tunic so I was excited to see this Free People Mock Neck Top on sale last month! As y’all can tell from this older photo, it’s something I’ve been able to wear for a couple of seasons now and plan on reaching for it often this fall & winter.
3. We The Free High Rise Busted Knee Skinny Jeans
Another Nords item 🙂 Don’t worry though, these High-Rise Ripped Skinny Jeans are $78 without a sale price so they’re still a good snag!
2. Rachel Parcell Velvet Trim Felted Wool Panama Hat
Ahh I adore this hat so much, which looks a lot like the one I wore a lot inVermont a couple years ago! I’m always into fall accessories, whether it’s a belt, a scarf, or a hat like this. They add that extra element to a basic look and can make anything feel more seasonal. This particular hat is sold out but keep checking inventory as I have a feeling they’ll restock it. I’ll keep y’all posted if I see it available!
1. Free People My Only Sunshine Sweater
Looks like a lot of you took advantage of this highly popular Free People sweater being on sale last month! I know for a fact that I wore this sweater more than any other last fall & winter and I’m still totally into it. It looks like they still have Black, Tuscan Earth (burnt orange), and Winter Berry available in select sizes!
Alright, ladies, that rounds up the month of August. As always, thank you to everyone reading this and to everyone who helped support my business through my affiliate sales last month. I truly appreciate you more! xo.
