What I Packed & Wore In The Bahamas

Hello hello, friends! We’re back from the Bahamas and the States and I’m currently getting back into the swing of things, including bringing you all the details on everything I packed and wore while away! This was one of my first real trips away since the pandemic [Rome was my first if you want to check out my recap on that trip] and it was everything my heart and soul needed. From seeing my Dad to all the sunshine, and, of course, all the family time with John and Louie without the distractions of life surrounding us [aka finally getting out of the house!], it was such a gift and I’m so grateful. Anyway, I’m excited to share the below details with you girls. Not to toot my own horn but I packed some very cute things for this trip and based on what I’ve shared already over on stories, I think y’all are loving these looks as much as me! Alright, let’s get into the outfits!

Y’all know I’m a sucker for a good white flowy dress and this one checks all the boxes. You really can’t beat the price either at only $48! It’s great for travel but would also make a cute dress to throw on over your suit at the pool.

The hat that truly took me by surprise! I try not to jump on trends, and I won’t lie, I’ve been very hesitant about bucket hats making a comeback, but this cutie surprised me and now I’m obsessed with it, ha! It’s kind of just like a smaller floppy sun hat, right?? Lol. Also, everyone should have some white linen overalls for beach trips!

Really loving trousers at the moment so I was excited to style these on our trip and add all the woven details! I carried this bag everywhere and it held up so well!

You can never have too many neutral basics and this tank is just that. It’s a bit pricey for a basic tank but the quality is there and I know I’ll wear it so much beyond our recent trip. Also, these sandals deserve a big moment because I wore them 24/7 and the price is so good!

Give me all the cute swimsuits!! As soon as I saw the bow tie shoulder straps on this top I was sold! I highly recommend these gauzy cotton beach shorts too. Truly the perfect, easy coverup! This is also the affordable beach bag I shared in a recent style haul YouTube video – cannot believe the price!

The ultimate beach/pool coverup that also doubles as a dress if you’d like. I wore this a few times down to the pool last week and it’s so breezy and comfortable.

A little treat I snagged for myself before our trip for my birthday. I included them on my birthday wishlist and can officially say I love them just as much as I thought I would!

Little Louie also had some cute ‘fits on our trip including this rash guard swimsuit [which actually comes in a set of two for $30] and his dinosaur sunhat!

This light knit henley has been in heavy rotation in the last month. It’s just the perfect weight and goes with literally everything. The price doesn’t hurt either and it’s available in lots of colors!

The snack spinner was such a hit and I’m so glad we had it with us. Highly recommend grabbing one for your little!

Another cute swimmie I snagged before we left. You can’t see all the details in this photo but the top has an adorable one-shoulder ruffle detail as well as the bottom has an asymmetrical ruffle along the hem.

Second to last swimsuit – promise! I hadn’t been on a tropical trip in a minute so I may have gone a bit crazy, lol. This one comes in a set and is a “one size fits all” type of suit. I loved the stretchy, ribbed material!

Another white dress for the win! I belted this one as it actually has a cinched waist built into the dress but you can easily wear it without a belt. Throw on some wedges and you’re good to go!

Same white dress just add in a cute almost one-year-old [how?!] and his adorable lewk!

Kind of an Instagram vs reality type of moment, haha. This dress is under $60, comes in several colors, and is the perfect flowy sundress for running errands or sitting around drinking wine with your baby 😉

Last but not least, one more swim and coverup look for you girls. This coverup is a favorite Amazon find of mine and comes in under $30! I also got quite a few questions on this tote during the trip so was sure to link it here for you girls!

Whew, did you get all that? Like I said, lots of amazing outfits from this trip so I hope this roundup was helpful if you’ve been looking for a link for something! xo.

Did you wear a slip under the white Lacey dress? I’m struggling with that with a similar dress. Don’t want spanx but would like a little tummy control.
