Life Update + A Few Sales To Note

Good morning loves! It has been a while since I have done a life update so I thought today was a perfect day to do just that! I feel like life has been so busy lately [in the best way] and I sometimes forget to loop my internet friends [y’all!] in on what is going on with us! First, can we talk about how stunning the magnolia tree is in these photos?? Further proof of why I love Spring and London so much. The colors are also not to be missed – I absolutely love the tones. Okay, let’s move on hah!

Spring is finally here and life is starting to feel like it used to pre-pandemic. All the Covid restrictions have been lifted here and, while I was very happy to abide by them when they were in effect, I could not be happier to finally see the other side of them. I feel like we finally have the chance to do life here the way I always dreamt I would — well, as much as I can without living there, ha! Thankfully, my train rides to London only take 30 minutes which is a really, really short commute. Living in lockdown the last couple of years, and also feeling a little more locked down throughout pregnancy, has given me a deep appreciation for the busyness life is giving us now!

This past week, Louie had his one-year-old shots [or jabs, as they say here] and it has taken its toll on him. Poor thing had a fever in the middle of the night on Tuesday night and has just been a little less like himself. But, overall, he was so brave and is doing well. I can’t wait to celebrate, relax and see him experience opening his very first Easter basket! We are getting ready for Louie’s second Easter this weekend. Here in the UK, we get Friday and Monday off as they’re considered Bank Holiday’s. We are planning to have a traditional Sunday roast and we talked about maybe checking out a church in Windsor. It has been a long time since I was able to go to church and, while I love all things Easter and Spring related, the ultimate reason is because of my faith and that we celebrate a God who is alive! I can’t wait to teach Louie all the bible stories and share with him how loved he is by God!

What are your plans for the Easter weekend?! I hope whatever you have planned that you enjoy time with the ones you love the most doing exactly what you want to do!

One event I am looking ahead to at the end of the month is welcoming a new group of gorgeous gals to London for Atlas Adventures! It has been a dream come true showing so many wonderful ladies around my favorite city in the world! Whitney, Victoria, and I have been busy planning the perfect quintessential Spring getaway in London and I’d be lying if I said I am not so excited to experience it myself. These gals have been my travel buddies for years and it’s really something special to be able to host these trips for gals looking for travel buddies of their own. To be able to connect women who are looking to see the world and broaden their world view is something I feel very lucky to be able to do through these trips. I’ll be co-hosting another one this year … and it is to ISCHIA in September! More details to come so stay tuned to this page on Whitney’s new site — which looks incredible, by the way!!

Now, for those of you here for the sale deets listen up! It is the last call for the Shopbop sale. I can’t recommend this sale enough for closet staples in building a wardrobe you love. Yes, the pieces are a little more than say other retailers but with the buy more save more deal, you can get quite a few things at such great prices. I covered the sale details, what I have bought over the years, and what are the most hardworking items in my wardrobe all from Shopbop HERE so be sure to check it out! Also, for those who love to shop in the LTK app, head to the collection I put together HERE [works on mobile only]!

Before I go, I want to give you some outfit details! One of the many designers included in the Shopbop sale is Juliet Dunn. Her items are stunning & will last for years! I snagged the dress I am wearing in these photos before we went to the Bahamas and wore it quite a few times when we were abroad and can’t WAIT to wear it more as it heats up here [and on some more warm weather getaways this Summer, fingers crossed!]. It is such an easy throw-on that can be dressed up or worn casually. I decided to dress it up here to give some outfit inspiration for this Easter weekend. If you don’t need another white dress (like me..ha) there is a mint color that I have my eye on also — and it’s included in the Shopbop sale! Don’t sleep on the cutest wooden handled bag of all time! It is under $100 and a dream for Spring & Summer months when you just need to throw a few things in a bag and go!

And last but certainly not least is a beauty sale for all of my UK gals! It is from Cult Beauty who offers quite a few of my most loved beauty brands! It is 25% off £120 with code SPRING25 and 20% off any haul with code SPRING20! I covered my picks from the sale over on my LTK page so check that out HERE!

Alright, that is it for me today! Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend, loves!

xo.
