Hey there, lovelies! Anyone else have way more black sweaters in their wardrobe than you’re willing to admit? *slowly raising my hand* I want to incorporate color into my wardrobe every season of the year. I don’t want to succumb to the black hole so many of us gravitate into this time of year because it’s easy and … honestly … it’s just an accurate reflection of how we feel about the cold weather, ha! But … I do think black is so chic. A few weeks back, I paired two of my favorite black basics in my closet right now – these jeans and this sweater – and just felt unstoppable. It’s crazy how a color can make you feel a certain way, isn’t it?

These two basics can be styled in so many different ways, definitely staples you need in your closet, and aren’t too expensive.

And, while there are a couple of expensive items within todays outfit, I have found some amazing dupes that are available for them right now!

My boots are a great investment …. but you have this amazing option as well as these & these [which I have in gray and love!]!

My bag is one of my wardrobe staples … great for a classy evening out … but this clutch with gold detail has the same appeal.
