New Fall Colors To Embrace This Year

Hi there, lovelies!

Gosh, I feel like I don’t know what to talk about after yesterdays’ post! Hah! I hope you enjoyed my life update + the Q&A. I’ve already gotten a few emails with question submissions for next months post! I really do hope to do those each month. I know next month will be a lot of Fall style inspiration but am always open to your post suggestions! I’ll try and get a Friday Five up in there, as well.

Let’s see … in addition to prepping for the move, I’ve been working on planning my Fall and Winter trips. I’m going to be abroad for a few weeks in October. Victoria and I are excited to go on another trip together. We going to spend a good chunk of time in a city I’ve been wanting to spend more time in but have always wanted to do it in the Fall [although I wouldn’t mind going in the Spring, either] and then we’re working on some other spots to explore from there. Any guesses?  Whitney and I are also planning TWO trips – one is later in the Fall / Winter and the other is after the first of the year. I also want to check out New England because I literally have SO MUCH to see up there. I’ve only really ever been to NYC. What are you favorite cities to venture to in New England in the Fall? Give me the scoop! I think I have room for a small weekend getaway!

Speaking of Fall, this outfit is fresh take on Fall style in my opinion. We normally see those darker colors come in to play when we get into the Fall season but just because that’s what we normally see doesn’t mean that’s what we HAVE to resort to. This light pink cardigan is a lightweight linen blend, which is a little different than the ones this brand has made in the past. They’re super comfortable and I always love that it’s available in regular and petite sizing. If you’ve followed me on Instagram and Insta-stories … I’ve kind of shared my love for this new trend, the slide. I recently found these suede lavender slides. They are so precious and add such a cute addition to this outfit. I wouldn’t really ever pair lavender and pink together unless I was decorating a baby’s nursery but I say ‘why not?’ … when everyone does the same thing, let’s try and do something a little different, right?

Here are some more Fall slides that have my stamp of approval:

Tomorrow, I’ll be sharing some great pre-Fall items to consider adding to your wardrobe now instead of when they’re out of your size in about a month or two! I got your back, girl!! See you then! xo.
