This week, the Friday Find is more of a direction.
It is simply:
Go to GAP.
I found a few things that made me a very happy shopper,
from both a monetary and aesthetic point of view.
I saw a sign
(does that make anyone else think of Ace of Base?)
that said “Dresses 30% off”
with tons of bright colored button up dresses
hanging on a T-rack next to it,
which couldn’t have been more tempting and dangerous.
I don’t know what it is with me and button-ups lately,
but I may need an intervention here soon.
It’s almost to the point where the number of button-ups
is giving my blue collection a run for its money,
and that’s pretty crazy if you know my style.
On the rack, this pretty green gingham dress just stood out to me.
I think that it’s too perfect a piece to not have in my closet.
There’s so much you can do with it:
throw a vest over it,
wear a bright skinny belt instead of the one it comes with,
wear a big, bright statement necklace,
or patterned heels
(:cough: leopard, maybe?)
or …
do something I would do and
wear a big, bright statement necklace and leopard heels!
Boom.
Swoon!
Anyway,
this dress is definitely functional and comfortable,
and absolutely perfect for you ladies that work in an office setting.
I have made my love for clutches known recently,
and nothing has changed in the last two weeks,
so when I spotted these fun clutches at GAP
I had to snag this bright yellow / lime green
(it could pass for either color, honestly).
There are similar versions of this clutch everywhere,
a very natural base with a, typically neon, POP of color.
What I liked about this one is the size and the price.
You can wear it as a big clutch,
although the material is a little flimsy,
making that a little difficult,
or you can wear it as a fold over.
They were originally $19.99, I believe,
but they are marked down to $11.99
Not bad!
