It’s no secret that I love to shop.
But, every girl has that one thing that they h a t e to shop for.
Some would say bathing suits or bras, but me?
DENIM.
It’s so annoying! Half the time,
when you fall in love with a pair of designer jeans,
they catch you completely off-guard!
You just happened to park in the Nordstrom’s or Dillard’s parking lot,
you were just passing through on your way to grab one thing at Sephora,
and they catch your eye as you walk through the women’s department.
You, then, find yourself in the dressing room,
you melt into them because the denim is so soft,
you can’t stop turning to each side and loving how they fit,
and then the realization that “I’m not exaaaactly in the market
to drop $275 on a pair of jeans at the moment”
slaps you in the face.
AND THEN!
When you ARE in the market for those jeans,
it’s like you’re searching for water in a desert!
Your size,
the wash you want,
in that particular brand,
are no where to be found!
So, you just leave the mall.
You don’t want to shop anymore.
The frustration has exhausted you way too much.
(Can you tell this happens to me a time or two?)
OR
(… another annoying denim shopping scenario
that I have become familiar with …)
When you find a pair of decently priced denim,
that is the most perfect wash you’ve been looking for,
that fit you so good,
hug every curve,
make you feel like you
could have every guy’s head turn
when you walk by in them,
except for …
that. weird. thing.
it’s doing in the back.
You know,
when it like pooches out
when you sit down
and then the world can see your intimates,
and makes you feel really uncomfortable.
What IS that??
(Manufacturers, get it together!
We’re trying to stay classy here, not trashy!)
OR
(… yes I have one more,
I told you I can’t stand shopping for denim …)
When you find a decently priced pair of jeans,
that fit good and all that stuff I described above,
and then you turn around to check out your backside,
and the pockets have some weird stitching on them.
“Okay, nevermind. They’re ruined.”
Are plain pockets really too much to ask for?
So, the other day,
after work,
I went to H&M to find something in particular that I am currently swooning over.
As I was shopping around for this item,
I found the denim wall and t-racks.
They were STOCK-FULL,
like no one had touched them all day.
j a c k p o t ! !
I grabbed a bunch of styles, sizes and washes,
had a photo shoot in the dressing room.
and decided to share them this week for the Friday Find.

I want to go ahead and apologize for all the crotch shots.
I promise, I’m a classy lady.
This pair of ‘&DENIM’ heavily distressed jeans
were the first pair to catch my eye.
I know ripped jeans are not everyone’s cup of tea,
but I personally love them.
They’re perfect for a quick trip out of the house
to grab a cup of coffee or fill up your gas tank.
The denim is soft, and the price is right on point!

THESE JEANS ARE AMAZING!!!
They are eccentric and different, which I’m all about.
I love the stitching on the leg and how washed out they look.
What I loved most, though, is the fact that they have slant pockets
and not just the zippers.
I’m not a fan of zippers as pockets.

And, I don’t know why, because they are a new arrival,
but I can’t find them on the website.
I guess it doesn’t matter, though, because you can’t buy them online,
because H&M doesn’t allow online purchasing.
But, these are also low-rise, stretch denim,
and they are $39.90.
These jeans were my favorite.
They’re super comfy and super cheap,
and the perfect cut.
They’re low-rise and super skinny,
which makes them versatile.
You can wear them with flats or sandals in the spring & summer,
and in the fall & winter you can wear boots with them.
I’m wearing the lighter wash below,
and above, the darker wash,
which I ended up going home with.
