Hi friends! How has your summer been so far? I can’t believe we are about halfway through the summer already. The UK has really struggled to actually give us a Summer so, I feel like I’m still wearing long-sleeves most days but, thankfully, we don’t need all of our layers like we typically do. One retailer I’ve found that has been absolutely smashing it this summer in terms of gorgeous styles is J.Crew!

When it comes to my personal style, I’ve always trended toward classic, timeless, and wardrobe staple-focused pieces, and J.Crew has always been a perfect match for me. I’ve been a customer of theirs for over 20 years — anyone else miss Jenna Lyons being at the helm?? I love her! But, I am happy that it’s still just as good as that era of J.Crew. As a retailer, they’re my trusted go-to throughout all seasons – even in the middle of the summer!
So today, I thought I’d share what I’m currently loving from J.Crew for summer. Let’s jump in!
What I’m Loving From J.Crew For Summer
They’ve definitely got an Americana vibe going on in their color-ways right now which is always fun for Summertime.
• This ruffle top is so fun for a dinner out with friends or a beach getaway.
• You guys, I don’t opt for red very often but I am so tempted to get this dress in the red polka dot print. I love the silhouette so much! It also comes in a couple of solid colors.
• I can’t get away from their dresses to be honest — I’ve ordered this blue & white one, this white linen one, and this dreamy one in white.
• I haven’t pulled the trigger on these jeans but I want to so badly! They’re so cute!

The Styled Look
While I do have quite a few of the pieces featured in the graphic above, I couldn’t pull off a full J.Crew look for a few reasons so I am featured one in the look you see here today. This embellished button-up shirt is giving me 2014 vibes and I am here for it!
Embellished Blue Pinstripe Button-Up Shirt
The button-up shirt that I’ve styled in the photo above might be one of my favorite recent finds from J.Crew! If you know me, you know I’m a big fan of a high-quality button-up shirt, but this one is unique. The small embellishments layered over the blue and white pinstripes make this shirt special. I loved styling this shirt with a long white maxi skirt, but it would also be a great match for a pair of jeans and even a blazer.
Lace-Up Leather Sandals
These lace-up leather sandals are too good to pass up! I love how simple they are, yet still on trend. Lace-up sandals like this pair are one of my favorite types of sandals to style with skirts and dresses throughout the summer. They always add a touch of summer flair to any look, while still being comfortable sandals to wear throughout the day.
Mid-Rise Cropped Jeans
One thing to note about J.Crew – don’t sleep on their jeans! These mid-rise cropped jeans are so cute and classic for summer. The raw hem on the bottom makes these jeans perfect for warm weather style and would be a great match for sandals or flats. These jeans are also made with super stretchy denim, making them comfortable even in the heat.
