It’s that time of year again! The ever-so-loved Nordstrom Anniversary Sale will be here so soon (find the dates to mark on your calendar below)! I’m so excited for this year’s sale as it’s always so fun to shop! Many of you have shopped it with me the last few years but, if you’re new to it all, let me give you the run-down on everything you need to know!

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale starts at different times depending on your card status.

How Can I Check My Status?

To check your status as a Nordstrom Cardmember, go to Nordstrom’s site, log into your account, navigate to the tab in the top right-hand corner that reads “Hi, *First Name*”>Your Account>Nordy Club. Once you find out your status, take a look at the dates below to understand when you are able to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!

The key to Early Access is becoming a Nordstrom Credit Card holder. If you’re a cardholder, you get first dibs during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. You get to score on thousands of amazing deals … many of which sell out in most sizes by the time Public Access hits … before everyone else! Continue to use your Nordstrom credit card over time and accrue points through the Nordy Club and, eventually, you could acquire Ambassador or Icon status to shop even earlier!

If you don’t have a Nordstrom card yet, everything you need to know is here. Be sure to apply before July 10th in order to receive a bonus Nordstrom note for $60, which is essentially free money to use toward your first purchase!

Pro Tip: Make sure you add your card to your Nordstrom online account before the sale starts to you’re completely ready to shop when it’s go time!

Is Early Access Different Than Public Access?

Somewhat! There are some products that are available during Early Access that sell out and are not restocked but, it’s obviously hard to say whether those products are products you even need in your wardrobe.

My take on whether Early Access is worth getting, I’d say it is if your wardrobe is ‘in the works’ so-to-speak and you’re financially responsible enough to open up another line of credit. If you’re in need of quality denim, lots of basics that will get you through the next few years, boots, etc. then … then, yes, I think worth it because you’re more likely to get the size you need! Nordstrom typically knows which items are going to be ‘all the rage’ so they have quite a large inventory ready to go but … by the time public access begins, there are quite a few sizes missing in those pieces that you’ll see so many bloggers styling. So, it’s totally your call but I do think Early Access brings enough perks to strongly consider signing up for a Nordstrom card.

There are a few options that I personally think are great! I’ll outline my two favorite ways to shop below! No matter which option works best for you, I’d encourage you to shop as early and quickly as you can due to the popularity of the sale and how quickly I see things sell out.

Online and opt for in-store pick-up

I’m not a huge fan of crowds, which is why online shopping is one of my favorite things! Since so many people are shopping this sale, and there can be delays in shipping due to an increase in orders, I think opting to shop the sale online [by filtering to only the items available at your local store] and then going to pick it up can be a nice option if you want to get those items sooner!

Online and shipped to your home

Shopping the sale online is always my preference. However, it can certainly be overwhelming, which is why I always encourage y’all to come here to for all of my picks and insights into sizing. This year, I get to shop the sale on Tuesday and will be sharing sneak peeks on my IG stories. From Tuesday through Thursday, I’ll be working on curating the most helpful content with comprehensive insight in order to help y’all shop the sale with ease starting on Friday, July 12th! If you’ve shopped the sale in the past, you may remember those early wake-up calls to get your first orders placed. This year, Nordstrom is changing it up and the sale won’t go live until FRIDAY [it’s usually Thursday] at 12:30pm EST. The girls [Justine & Stacy] and I will be working swiftly ferociously to get the post to y’all as soon as possible — links won’t be available to us until the sale goes live so we’ll be linking the post up from 12:30pm and getting it out to you by – hopefully – 1:00pm EST.

First things first – Apply for a Nordstrom Card

Apply for a Nordstrom Card in order to shop during Early Access. It alleviates some of the concern whether your favorite sale items will still be in stock/in your size by public access!

Come see me!

I’ll be sharing in-store and at-home try-on’s throughout the sale period, helpful blog posts breaking down the best products from different departments, and Instagram’s styling some of my purchases from the sale … all starting on July 12th! Be sure to turn post notifications on on Instagram, follow me in the app to easily shop the looks I share [or THIS PAGE here on if you don’t use the app], sign up for my newsletters, and bookmark in your internet browser toolbar! We are all hands on deck over here for this sale so we will surely be working hard to make sure shopping this sale is a breeze for you!

Shop online. the best way to shop the sale is online

Nordstrom offers free shipping + really affordable expedited shipping compared to a lot of retailers. However, if you need your purchase same-day, you can still shop it online and opt for in-store or curbside pickup, as I mentioned earlier! 🙂

Nordstrom certainly keeps a lot of the best products under wraps but they do give us a sneak peek in the Nordstrom Catalog. They typically send it out to card members a few weeks before the sale but I believe they only create a digital version now to cut down on waste. Check it out here!

Did Any Items in the Catalog Spark Your Interest?

Yes! Quite a few, actually! While it’s sweltering here in Florida, these items are getting me so excited about the cooler Fall season!

There were so many cute things included in the catalog but, honestly, they save the best stuff for the actual sale launch! I cannot wait to share all of my picks with you! I’m doing something a little different this year for the sale and I’m excited to share next Tuesday! Any guesses?

PRO TIP: Use your double points day on the day you shop the sale so you earn points twice as fast helping you get to those Nordstrom notes quicker!

Will There be Restocks from Last Years Sale?

Most definitely! Every year, there are a handful of restocks but they’re not guaranteed. Sometimes, instead of restocking the actual item … they’ll change up the style a little bit. They tend to do this a lot of with the BP. and Halogen basics.

I can tell you that, this year, they’re definitely bringing back these Nordstrom pajamas, Madewell Ryder cardigan, and the Barefoot Dreams cardigan. Beauty buys you can expect are the NuFace toning device, Simple Human Sensor Mirror, T3 Hair Dryer, a GloPRO Head-to-Toe Set and this NARS lip gloss set.

Okay, now here’s my question for you …

What blog posts do you need [i.e. 10 best items under $50, best home decor items, best denim, best shoes, best beauty items, best transitional items from Summer to Fall , etc.]? What try-on hauls do you want to see [outfits or product reviews by type like denim try-on, fall bootie try-on, etc.]?

Leave your feedback in the comments below so I know what posts to prioritize! Thanks, y’all! xo.
