Easy Easter Style

In a perfect world,
hospitals would not be open on Easter Sunday.
Everyone would be cured and discharged the day before.
No one would have a stroke,
develop pneumonia or any type of infection,
have difficulty with pain control after surgery,
have a heart attack or seizure.
Everyone would be celebrating this most awesome holiday
with their families, going to church, eating a big meal,
and watching the NCAA Basketball games until they succumb to a food coma.
Everyone would be happy and joyous, surrounded by love
and absent of their current troubles for this one day.
And, no one, absolutely no one, would work.
This is in Haley’s dreamworld.
I live there, often.
But, unfortunately,
we don’t live in a perfect world,
and my reality this Easter
was that I was working at the hospital
taking care of my six sweet patients.
Thankfully, though,
I was able to celebrate Easter on Thursday.
I posted my Easter // Resurrection Thursday outfit on Instagram:
Stripe Button-Up: J. Crew | Mint Long-Sleeve Pullover: GAP
White Skinnies: J. Crew | Leopard Flats: Steve Madden, old
Necklace: J. Crew Factory, old {similar here and here} | Clutch: J. Crew Factory
Watch: Michael Kors | Bracelets: J. CrewStella & Dot

Now, I LOVE Easter fashion.
It’s probably my favorite holiday to dress for.
I’m a sucker for a pastel version of any color,
and, let’s be real honest here, ladies …
a cute Spring dress just makes any girl feel
just a little bit more like a pretty, pretty princess.
Am I right? Or, am I right??
It’s definitely the gateway into Spring and Summer,
where we saw GOODBYE!!! to all the drab-ness
that we can fall into during the cold Fall and Winter months.

I can’t help but know for a fact that
if I had been able to celebrate Easter on Easter Sunday,
my outfit would have been totally different.
I didn’t buy an Easter Sunday outfit after I realized I had put on the schedule to work,
but I will post what I THOUGHT about buying:

J. Crew

Oh, in a perfect world … my closet would be so, so happy!
I hope y’all had a wonderful weekend,
and a great start to your week so far!!

In a perfect world, my closet would be that happy too. Although I'm OBSESSED with those Collection bow heels, I love the look you went with for your pseudo-Easter! All of the greens and hints of leopard go so nicely.
