Traveling through Mexico this week has been so fun, especially with Ben. He’s traveling almost everywhere around the world, so it’s been fun exploring different cities in a country he’s never been before. We have been going on lots of adventures and excursions, which has been so fun and I can’t wait to share those with you! But, I tell ya … that man has way more energy than me. Our itinerary for today was just to relax, explore the city of Tulum, rent bikes, eat around, etc. and he was like ‘I REALLLLLY want to see these Mayan ruins that are on the beach here in Tulum’.

[Back Story: Every adventure we have been on has taken longer than they advertise which, for me, is a just a tad  annoying, considering how many we’ve been on, because I’d prefer to lay in a hammock on the beach and unwind after a long day before getting ready to go to dinner. I love adventures but I’m the type of person that needs their recharge time but, granted, I am a trooper and don’t complain but, I was kind of just excited to have a day where there really was no plan, you know?]

So, I told him to look into it and see how long it would take, how far away it is, etc. and, depending on how I felt, I would go. Because I do really want to see them, too. It looks pretty amazing. [Another piece of the Back Story: I’ve been getting really sick over the last couple of days. Sore throat. Running Nose. Congested. Started coughing this morning. Not ideal, but dealing with it.] Well, our receptionist at CocoTulum told him that it’s literally like, 7 minutes away and takes about an hour or so to go through so, I was like ‘Okay, cool. I’ll go if that’s the case’. Well, this morning I felt more congested and just wanted to take it easy this morning, so he went over there bright and early with the Go-Pro [his favorite thing] and is going to meet me over at Casa Banana for brunch in a bit. It’s been nice taking the morning to just relax, sip on my coffee and declutter my inbox, which is my new favorite thing to do, by the way! If you know me, you’re like ‘Excuse me? Where is Haley? What have you done with my friend?’ Ha!

Anyway, sorry there isn’t a Friday Five up today! I know y’all love those … It’s been a challenge to post anything down here but, even still, I’m trying to only do things that don’t take too much time away from quality time with Ben. He did fly all the way from London so we could go on holiday together, so I’m learning to put work second. [I tell ya … that’s hard to do for a chronically independent girl whose been single for 6 years!] But, I hope y’all like this outfit. I’ve worn this top a lot over the last month. It’s airy and soft, and I love the peplum detail. How cute is that clutch, too? It’s a little heavy but I love the detailing and the pop of orange which, as you can see I think pairs well with turquoise accents! My earrings and bracelet by Julie Vos are both 25% off with code SEQUINS25. The wedges MIGHT be my favorite part of this outfit, though. I love, love, love the color!

Alright, I’m off to go grab brunch with Ben! Y’all have an amazing Friday and weekend! I promise y’all will have a travel guide on Mexico and everything that we did soon. I know I’ve dropped the ball on doing that for other trips! But, really … this is happening for this one, ha! Thanks for stopping by today, y’all! OH! And, if you haven’t … check out the daily hair routine video from Wednesday! Hope y’all like it! xo.
