Alright, y’all! Today is the day … this is what we’ve been training for! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Early Access launched today for card holders! Honestly, this is my favorite time to shop the sale. The items included this year are top notch and, to be honest, I like everything so much more than the items that were included in the sale last year. So I am so excited to share my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale picks with you.
I had the opportunity to shop the sale yesterday and I taped my try-on session in the dressing room! I am going to be posting that to IG stories here very shortly! You can shop the style board below and I have shared some sizing insights for those items below that! Then, I linked some other items included in the sale that I was excited about and / or I own and love!
• Halogen Cashmere Scarf – thin cashmere but it layers really well and is really soft! I bought it in the tan and dusty rose.
• AG Jeans Raw Hem Jeans – they hit right at the ankle on me and I’m 5’3; go one size down from your normal size and they will fit perfect! These are such a steal for under $100 for a typically over $200 pair of jeans!
• BLANKNYC ‘The Madison’ Straight Leg Crop Jeans – I haven’t tried these on yet but BLANKNYC always runs true to size! You can’t beat the price on these!
• Sam Edelman Caprice Boots – I haven’t had a chance to try these on but, historically, Sam Edelman shoes run true to size!
• 7 For All Mankind Black Ankle Skinny Jeans – These are the softest jeans I tried on yesterday! I am obsessed! Go one size down from your normal. They run a bit big and they also hit right at the ankle!
• J.Crew Dover Blazer – I love that J.Crew offers multiple sizing options. I always get their Petite 00 and it fits me like a glove! So, I would go one size down from your normal size and select the sizing option that works best for you [regular vs. petite, etc].
• Eberjey ‘Gisele’ Pajama Set – This brand typically runs a little big. I ordered a Small and will report back and let you know if that’s still the case. I should receive this tomorrow pending shipping.
• BP. Brice Bootie – My store didn’t have this bootie option unfortunately but, typically, BP. booties run true to size.
There were quite a few technical difficulties this morning that was outside of my control so there is more coming throughout the day but here are a few more favorites that caught my eye as I was perusing that I couldn’t fit into the style board:

AG Jeans THE FARRAH ANKLE SKINNY JEAN – Under $150 and such good value! These jeans always last me a long time and fit really well. I typically go one size down from my normal, and I think I said I did in the IG story but I actually got my usual denim size, so I’d suggest doing the same!

PAIGE HOXTON HIGH-WAISTED ANKLE SKINNY JEANS – These run big so go one size down from normal. They fit snug and really hug you in the waist.
VINCE CAMUTO KENTVI OPEN-TOE BOOTIES – These run true to size and are super comfortable! There are a few different color options. I’m in the French Taupe Suede.
RIBBED CARDIGAN IN TAN – I purchased an XXS; go on size down from your normal unless you want a more oversized look but it fits slightly loose; covers your bum; material is a bit thin but I don’t think it’s terribly ‘cheap’

BP. PLAID SHIRT – A great basic! Not the highest quality but doesn’t feel paper thin or scratchy; made of soft material; under $32! Size up for an oversize fit to wear over leggings. I’m wearing an XS and would go up to a Small for an oversize fit.
LEITH SWEATER TANK IN BONE – Such a cute tank; go one size down from normal; great for layering; under $30!
This morning, I purchased THIS white and black stripe long sleeve tee. It’s one of my favorite basic tees. I have it in white already.
Tops / Sweaters
EILEEN FISHER SILK KNIT TOP IN BONE – Still a little pricey with the sale discount but it is 100% silk; great for a date night out especially with these SPANX Faux Leather Leggings that are also included in the sale! I’m wearing my normal size, XS, and it has a loose fit but looks appropriate.
TROUVE FUNNEL NECK SWEATER IN HEATHER BROWN – Such a steal! It’s a little over $50 for a super warm, adorable sweater! Highly recommend! Purchase your normal size. It has an oversized fit and can definitely be worn with jeans or over leggings!
VINCE CASHMERE OMBRE STRIPE MOCK-NECK SWEATER – This fits true to size and is slightly large in the body. It’s still a bit pricey. I’d say pass on it unless you are seriously looking to invest in quality cashmere and love the color and stripes!
HALOGEN CASHMERE PONCHO – I always love these ponchos! They’re great for travel and the price for cashmere isn’t bad! One size. [Colorblock version is HERE]
HALOGEN RIBBED CASHMERE VEST – I like this vest but don’t love that it’s ribbed. I’d prefer it be smooth. It was a little big on me as it’s one size but the quality of the cashmere is great. I opted out of this one but think you could get a lot of wear out of it!
HALOGEN CASHMERE CAPE – Okay, this cashmere cape is a little more expensive but SUCH great quality and much thicker than the other cashmere pieces I’ve mentioned. You can wear it so many ways and will last you for years! Highly recommend! I got the pink / rose color.
CASLON POCKET TEE – One of my favorite basics every year during the sale and one of my go-to basics throughout the year! It’s only $17.90 and always come in a few color options! I’m wearing an XS and they run true to size!
HINGE MIXED LACE PEPLUM TOP – So so cute and flattering for Summer! Beautiful detail. Also comes in white. Less than $50 and runs true to size.
Cardigans
MADEWELL RYDER CARDIGAN – WARNING! This item will sell out! I highly recommend this cardigan. Runs true to size. I bought an XS.
BP. COCOON CARDIGAN – I didn’t think this cardigan was very well made. It’s very thin. Runs true to size. Not worth the money.
This morning, I bought THIS cardigan and THIS cardigan in the light blue color, neither of which were available in my store.
Outerwear
THREAD & SUPPLY BRANDON FLEECE JACKET – This jacket is the coziest thing ever! It only comes in Small, Medium and Large so it’s big on me but, otherwise, I think it runs true to size!
Shoes
My store didn’t have a lot of good shoe options in my opinion but here is what I did find:
VINCE SANDERS SLIP-ON SNEAKERS IN PATENT LAVENDER / TAUPE – Product page says they run big but I got my normal size and they fit fine, super comfortable! They look cuter on than they do off.
STEVE MADDEN STUDDED SNAKE SKIN SLIDES – They were a little too wide for my narrow foot and I have a short foot, too, so they were just ‘too much’ overall for me but I truly think they’re adorable so snag them if you have a more ‘regular’ width foot! Plus, they’re under $50!

This was an item I purchased last Winter and would wear ALL. THE. TIME. It only comes in Small, Medium and Large so, I’m wearing a Small here. It’s big on me but, honestly, it gave me more room for my layers and just achieved that comfortable, cozy look I was going for half the time! I am wearing the taupe color.
MY TWO FAVORITE PAJAMA SET PICKS
Nordstrom Lingerie‘s sets are under $50. J.Crew‘s sets are under $65.
Nordstrom Lingerie and J.Crew both have pajama sets that are included in the sale. Nordstrom Lingerie’s sets typically run large so size down if you can. I have this black set in long sleeve and in short sleeve. J.Crew also runs large. I would size down and also purchase regular or petite based on your height. I wore the blue pair of the J.Crew ones the other night and had the best sleep ever!
FREE PEOPLE SATURDAY MORNING CARDIGAN
Original Price: $148.00 | Sale Price: $98.90
I purchased this cardigan last Summer, actually right after the Nordstrom Sale ended, and it was one of my favorite cardigans to throw on during the Fall months. It’s so hot in Florida so I wear cardigans around my house all the time. I’m constantly aiming for that cozy lounge look around here. It’s a little pricey but, with the sale, you get $50 off, which is so good considering how much you will wear this cardigan! Your money will be well worth it!
MY FAVORITE SEAMLESS BRA

A few months ago, this bra caught my eye when I was looking for something comfortable, wireless and seamless. Let me tell you … it is a dream and I now have two of them and I just ordered two in the gray color. I absolutely love this bra and it’s less than $20 during the sale! Such a steal!
TEDDY BEAR COATS ON SALE
Last Winter, teddy bear coats became a major thing. I didn’t buy into it for awhile because all of them were massive on me. I eventually found one by J.Crew, seen in the photos above. As I was perusing the sale, I couldn’t help but notice this coat that looks so, so similar! If you missed out on this coat or ones like it last year, give this one a try! It’s a steal for under $70! There are also some other really cute textured coats available to consider. Here are a few faves:

Crew Olga Boiled Wool Topcoat, Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots (not sure if I can pull them off haha), the Badgley Mischka Double Face Wool Blend Wrap Front coat, the voluspa candles (I snagged a 3 pack last year and was hooked from the first smell!!!), and the T3 hairdryer..along with just some basic t-shirts and hopefully some hair care products!

I love how real you are on your stories! That’s what makes all the travel and style more believable and relatable. While i love your style and have shopped a few things I mostly follow you for the travel! I also lived in England with my husband while we were stationed there for the Air Force. I miss it every single day!! The opportunity to travel was such a blessing and England truly has my heart. Hello, I will be buying the Topshop cardigan and the Longchamp tote for my Mother for her travels. I also think I will be buying the AG raw hem leggins. I love their jeans and I will use all year round down here in Florida.
I am impatiently waiting for the sale to go public (my husband doesn’t think I need another credit card no matter how many times I beg), but I can’t wait to get some AG jeans and I am LOVING those Vince Mules!

Ordered a bunch of stuff very early this morning – however some of it may not be fulfilled. Just tried ordering other items – the website has crashed, no one answers customer service – too frustrating for me. I’m going back to other sites – Bloomies, Amazon and Neimans – I think Nordstrom has really gone down. Why promote this huge sale and then be ill prepared to handle it.

I know all too often I find myself admiring your travel photos and so wishing I could travel more and see the world, but I have a 2 year old daughter and 8 month old twin baby girls so that’s simply not in the cards for me right now. I have been a Nordstrom shopper for years and always love this sale, but this is the first year I really took note of advice from the experts :). Your work was so helpful and helped me have a painless experience, because this sale can be a little overwhelming… I was so excited to buy the leopard mules to wear to work and stock up on the basic tees and v necks!
