How I Would Spend $500 During Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Early Access

Hey there, friends! Today is the day! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is now live for all card holders! For today’s post, I thought it would be fun to share how I would spend $500 since we had a little chat the other day on stories about sticking to your budget for the sale! I’m not going to lie … it was hard to narrow my choices down and I think it’s just because I know there are so many great pieces this year but I narrow it down to the purchases that ‘wow’-ed me the most and I know I will wear a lot! What I love about these items, too, is that half of them are great to wear year round so you’ll really be getting a lot for your money!

Did you catch yesterday’s post? It has a large round-up of my top picks from the sale, all of which have a strong chance of either selling out today or at least selling out in popular sizes so be sure to peruse that post before checking out! As always, thank you for your support of my blog and business during this sale. I absolutely love covering it for you guys and making it easier for y’all to shop!

Okay, here we go!

SKIRT [wearing XXS petite; plus-size version HERE] • MOTO JACKET • similar LACE CAMI [plus-size version HERE] • BLACK BOOTIESSIMILAR BELT INCLUDED IN SALE [ACTUAL BELT]

Halogen Pleated Leopard Midi Skirt, $69.50

I wanted to pick a few items that would be appropriate for you gals who head to an office everyday! This pleated leopard print skirt is so perfect for work but I love that you could also wear it to special events, nights out with your significant other or girlfriends, and church! It’s also a piece you can wear all year round! See how I styled it for the Winter months in yesterday’s post!

BP. Lace Trim Satin Camisole, $25.90

This lace trim satin camisole is one of those wardrobe staples that you will wear all year round! Every gal should have nice camisoles in her closet. If I only had $500 to spend, I would definitely stock up on these if you don’t already have one or two. Size down in the one included in the sale!

CARDIGANFLATSSIMILAR CAMI INCLUDED IN SALE • PANTS

Barefoot Dreams Cardigan, $79.90

This is my first ever Barefoot Dreams cardigan and … oh my gosh, I get why they are all the rage now! They are so incredibly soft. It was EASY to take off in this heat but I know once the cooler weather starts to roll in, I’ll essentially be living in it around the house and out and about! I already have a few neutral colored cardigans so I opted for this pretty green color [great for Fall!] but they also have it in black and silver. I also really like THIS STYLE that’s included in the sale in the BISUQE color.

CARDIGANLEGGINGSBOOTSRIBBED LONG-SLEEVE TEE

Halogen High-Waist Ponte Legging, $31.90

Okay, I know SPANX leggings are all the rage … and they are really great, I’m not going to lie … but, if you’re on a budget and you have a few other things on your list, I’d say these Halogen ponte leggings are a great alternative. They are a thick, classic legging [not the athletic kind] that are going to last you a really long time. You really can’t beat the price! J.Crew usually carries these for around $60!

Vince Camuto Nestle Knee High Boots, $159.90

If I only had $500 to spend, I would go with only one splurge item and it would have to be these Vince Camuto boots. They are so sleek. I absolutely love how comfortable they are and how good they look on. They aren’t stiff at all but the material is strong enough to stay up. I love that they maintain their structure. These may be one of my favorite items purchased during the sale and a must for the Fall and Winter season.

A lot of you voted in favor of liking below the knee boots better so, if that’s you, I’d say grab the Sam Edelman boots because they are a super comfortable style and I love the color they included in the sale.

HOODED CARDIGANJEANSHATBOOTIESRIBBED LONG-SLEEVE TEE

Treasure & Bond Large Brim Hat, $38.90

Sadly, this hat is already sold out in this color but y’all .. you really can’t go wrong with any of the hats included in this years’ sale! I’d say get whichever one you can snag! You’ll wear the heck out of it!

PANTSSIMILAR TOP INCLUDED IN THE SALE • SIMILAR SHOES INCLUDED IN THE SALE • SIMILAR EARRINGS INCLUDED IN THE SALE

J.Crew High-Rise Crop Work Pant, $52.90

Do y’all remember these pants from a few months ago? I wore them in pink HERE. I think these may be a little longer but they are the same material and style. I absolutely love them! They are my favorite work pant I’ve ever tried on. They’ve always been an item I’ve struggled to find a good fit in and these are a dream! Highly recommend for you gals who need some good workwear from the sale! I grabbed them for meetings with brands when my London journey is well underway! 🙂

Alright! That’s what I would buy … now, let’s see my check out price!

Check Out Price – $458.90

Whew! I made it, ha! That gives you a little room to buy two of the cami’s if your wardrobe was in need of two colors! I hope it was fun to see how I would spend $500 during Early Access!

What did y’all end up snagging today? Be sure to head back here tomorrow for more Nordstrom Anniversary Sale content! I made three online orders yesterday. Would y’all want some insight into what I purchased? It’ll give you a little peak into next weeks’ try-on haul! I love how unique this post was! I plan on purchasing a few of the BP camis along with a cardigan and knowing these made it to your cart with only $500 to spend, these are def a priority now! I’m also very excited to snag a pair of the Halogen leggings. Chopping the price in half compared to SPANX leggings leaves room for an extra cami ?
    Thank you for sharing, Haley!!!

I’d honestly just really love to get the nuna car seat. It’ll last our little for a very long time and it’s one of the safest on the market. Just don’t have that kind of cash to invest in it at the moment. Thanks for all you do!

You did such a great job with this! I’m new to following fashion blogs and am loving your blog! Originally I thought I’d spend $500 on a few fall/winter staples, but I think I might have changed my mind. It might sound crazy but I’ve never been able to afford a designer handbag, and I’ve had my eye on that Tory Burch tote since the sale began. I’d probably spend $500 on that so I can have a great handbag that is timeless!
