Hey there, friends! Can y’all even believe Summer is winding down? Kids are going back to school. The heat is subsiding – at least for some of you, ha! Football has returned as our weekend entertainment. I absolutely love this time of year as we transition into Fall but, for once, I’m sad to say goodbye to Summer. It’s been my favorite one ever. It’s been full of travel, love, and celebrating people I’m closest to. It’s also been full of exercising grace as this has been a season where my professional life isn’t getting as much time paid to it because other things in my life that are important to me have weighed a little heavier in this ‘in-between’ season … and that’s okay. But, it’s been hard to actually believe it in my head sometimes, you know?
So, I’m sad to see the Summer go but excited to be home for a little bit. It’ll allow me to get back to blogging regularly and finishing the paperwork needed for my visa application. I seriously cannot wait for it all to be done, ha! Anyway, before switching over to Fall content for you guys, I thought I’d share a few super cute outfits I shot with the lovely Nkima in London back in July when I was in town. In one, I’ll share the travel shoe I opt for more than any other. In another, I’ll share a pink dress you’ll keep in your closet for years to come. Today, I’m sharing a few loves this summer left me with! Starting with ….
Bodysuits
Bodysuits were something I fell in love with over the Summer. I wore this one to John’s birthday celebration in July [seen here]. I got the most use out of this one from Abercrombie [seen here & here]. I also love this pink one I’m sporting in today’s outfit post and this one that I wore quite a bit earlier this year & throughout the Summer. Bodysuits are such a great compliment to the other really popular trend right now, high-waisted denim!
St. Tropez Dark Tanning Mousse
I’ve been a long-time fan of St. Tropez but, earlier this Summer, I tried their Dark Bronzing Mousse and I absolutely fell in love with how beautifully tan it leaves your skin. It may not be for everyone but I have loved using it. I’m wearing it in these photos and you can find out more about my self-tanning practices in this post!
Sam Edelman Loraine Loafers
So, these loafers are actually an old purchase that I fell in love with all over again this Summer when I brought them on almost all of my Summer travels. They are one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I own and go with everything. They also come in tons of colors and patterns if white patent isn’t your thing! Y’all always ask me what shoes to bring with you on your travels and these would work for Spring, Summer, and Fall! Highly recommend and mine are currently on sale for $72! They run true to size! The newer version of this loafer can be found here in other colors and patterns!
Thanks so much for stopping by today, y’all! It feels good to be back home with the boys and back on the blog! Lots of new posts coming your way over the next few weeks! Also, the Monthly Favorites newsletter goes out tomorrow. I catch y’all up on my London journey every month there so be sure to subscribe here to be sure you don’t miss it! xo.
