My Christmas Wishlist

christmas wishlist

This might sound really cliché and or cheesy but, all I want for Christmas is to be with my family, John, and Fish & Chips. I want to lounge around all day in Christmas pajamas and do absolutely nothing other than eat and laugh and watch Christmas movies. Other than a UK visa, I truly want for nothing. But, per your request, and because they’re fun, I put a Christmas wishlist together to to share with you all if you’re still looking for some gifting ideas.

While you might not find this to be a traditional list, I wanted to come at it with a logistics perspective. Seeing that I’m hoping to move to London in 2020, a lot of these items are with that in mind. The first part of this list is basically my London home wishlist. There are quite a few things that could be helpful to have at John’s ready for me when / if my UK visa does get approved, like …

Mirrored Glass Desk

I often feel like my work stuff [my laptop, external hard drive, portable charger, photo cardholder, camera, etc] are all in the way when I’m at John’s. I know he doesn’t mind but it drives me a little crazy to not have a ‘home’ for my work stuff, so I’d LOVE a desk at his house to use when I am living with him. And, this desk is so my style! This is likely NOT what we will get for the space because it’s a little too long for what we’re working with but, this is just a wishlist so, I am kind of just picking my dream list, ha! Isn’t it so pretty??

Divided Laundry Hamper Basket

While not the most glamours on the the list, it’s pretty dang annoying not having a way to tackle my dirty laundry situation when I’m at John’s, other than using the designated travel bag I bring. This likely won’t be the one I get because, unless it’s collapsible, I’m not sure how I’d get it to the UK, just based on where it’s from, but this is the one that I’d love to keep in the second bedroom, where all of my clothes will be stored if it WERE possible, ha! I promise that once this move is definite and it actually happens .. I will share the space we’re working with so it makes a little more sense to you!

Metal Garment Rack w/Wood Shelves

There’s a lack of closet space in most homes in the UK so clothing racks are definitely something I’ll need to store all of my clothes, shoes and handbags when / if I move. John keeps saying he wants something that looks a little cleaner so we may opt to put in a wardrobe in the second room for extra storage space for my clothes and some of his heavier coats and jackets. But, I think, just for the time behind, having one of these to just hang some of my things up until we can get a wardrobe figured out would be great. These are my favorite from Amazon.

Dog Coats

My little ween’s will need some extra warmth on our walks in London, that is for sure! I absolutely love how these jackets are long enough to cover their whole body and have extra fleece fabric around their necks for added warmth. I also love that they’re under $20, as well!

Ha, I realize that this isn’t a gift for me but, it’s a gift that I know I’ll get a lot of use out of, which is definitely something I think about when making my Christmas wishlist.

The rest of these are not necessarily needs and, therefore, I won’t hold my breath, but would be excited to unwrap on Christmas especially being that many items would be helpful / useful to have In London:

christmas wishlist

Pink Makeup Brush Cleaner

I have a makeup brush cleaner mat from Sigma and it has been really useful. However, I won’t have a lot of storage space at John’s so I need something that is small and that I can tuck away neatly. I found this little one that I feel would make a really good stocking stuffer and it’s under $20!

christmas wishlist

Knot Key Ring

I love the style of this key ring and while I already have a key ring, I think it’d be fun and exciting to get a new one to mark a new chapter. This brand is known for choosing high quality materials to make their gorgeous products. I got my pebbled leather travel wallet from there. The pale pink saffiano leather should last me quite some time and it’s very me. I also love the monogram feature.

Nike ‘Flyknit’ Running Shoe

If you’ve follow me for awhile, you know that I tend to gravitate toward sneakers that are basically socks. It’s been awhile since I’ve found a pair that I’ve gravitated toward as I feel like chunkier sneakers are very on-trend right now. But, it’s refreshing to have found this pair that embodies my style. I love the feminine colors and I always think Nike sneakers are super comfortable so, I know they’d be a pair I’d wear quite a bit. Wait a minute … I just found THIS color that might be even more my style. Hmm, which one do you think I should ask Santa for?

anine bing sweatshirt, christmas wishlist

Anine Bing Sweatshirt

Anine Bing has become a brand that I gravitate toward if I want to opt for a more casual, edgy girl style for the day. She makes pieces that exude an effortlessly cool feel. While this sweatshirt is a bit of a splurge, it showcases some of the worlds best destinations and, as a lover of travel, I want to have it as a part of my wardrobe. I think it’ll be great to wear over leggings and sneakers for a day full of errands or for a long day of travel. Do you have any pieces by Anine Bing? You may remember this shirt I wore a ton this summer!

Fleece-Lined Leggings

I have recently been singing the praises of fleece lined leggings, specifically this pair. I have found them to be so cozy for those chilly days here in London. Winters here are typically much milder than neighboring countries but, with the rain, it can feel much colder so having a few pairs of fleece lined leggings on deck might be helpful to get through this season if London life is in my future. This pair is affordable at under $25!

‘Live In Grace & Walk In Love’ Book

Bob Goff does such a great job of encouraging me spiritually. His words in Love Does are sooo good. It’s my favorite book. If you haven’t read it, get it for yourself for Christmas. It’s such a good, uplifting read that you will breeze through! With all of that said, I’m really excited that he put a devotional together. I always like to start a new devotional at the beginning of a new year so hopefully this is the one that will help me ring in the new decade!

gucci scarf, christmas wishlist

Gucci Wool Scarf

This gorgeous scarf is a bit pricey. I wouldn’t actually put it on my Christmas wishlist but, if I ever felt comfortable asking for something this expensive, it would make the list. The neutral colors will go with so many outfits and the wool material will keep my neck and upper half very warm. I feel like I’d get a lot of use out of it in London. It would be in my wardrobe for a lifetime, too, and something I could pass down to my daughter years from now.

Butter Crew Socks

These are my favorite socks to wear around the house. They’re like a Barefoot Dreams blanket for your feet [aka heaven]. I have them in pink and I’d love to have them in white, as well. If you’re needing some cozy socks, I can’t recommend these enough!

All Neutral Eyeshadow Palette

This is definitely not a need [because I have so many eyeshadow palettes] but I couldn’t resist the colors within this one and Charlotte Tilbury never disappoints! In my experience, her eyeshadow formula carries a lot of pigment and blends really nicely so I’m very tempted to request this one. I recently snagged this lipstick of hers in the Hepburn Honey shade, which I think would complete an eyeshadow combination made out of this palette. It’s really creamy and goes on really smooth. I absolutely love it. I’ll have to show you guys on stories what it looks like!

jo malone perfume, christmas wishlist

Nectarine Blossom & Honey Cologne

The other night, John and I popped into a Jo Malone location, which originated in London, and I finally found a signature fragrance from there. To be clear, I like quite a few of them but I’ve had a few of them give me a headache after awhile [I’m very sensitive; not because they’re strong scents in general]. The nectarine and honey fragrance smells sooo divine. It’s citrusy, with hints of peach and honey, without being too overpowering. I love it!

christmas wishlist

Travel Kit

I’ve shared my love for lululemon recently [see here] and have found this adorable little makeup bag that I think I could get a lot of use out of. I think it would be handy to bring with me into the city on long shoot days when I have plans later in the day. I could keep some makeup items in there for a little freshen up. Or, I could bring it along to a workout class in the city. It could also be useful for post-it notes, pen’s and pencils, and other office supply type items if you need to have those handy throughout the day. I love the size and color, as well.

Fold-Up Sunglass Case

This compact fold-up sunglass case is so handy for travel! I always just throw my sunglasses in wherever and it always takes me awhile to find them in my suitcase so, I think this would be a really nice way to keep track of my sunnies and also keep them in good condition.

christmas wishlist

Hard Travel Camera Case

As you may have heard, I started vlogging on this trip to London and I absolutely love my camera but I hate just throwing it in my tote bag. I don’t want it to get knocked around and damaged. I want to make sure it stays protected in there so I found this hard protective travel case. The downside of this, though, is that it would make it a little more difficult to grab it and film something quickly. But, might be worth it anyway. What do you guys think?

Alright, friends, hopefully that list didn’t totally bore you … ha. I really felt like an adult making that list 😉
