Holiday Gift Guide: Small Businesses To Support

Hi friends! Time for another gift guide – one I’m very excited to share! It’s important to support small businesses always, but 2020 has definitely taught me truly how crucial it is to mix up where we shop and consider shopping small first, especially during the holidays! So many small businesses are working so hard to stay afloat and get their names out there. While I’m not Oprah, I thought I could do even just a little bit to share some of the ones that have caught my eye this year or that I’ve loved for years!

FOR SUCH A TIME SHOP | My friend Stephanie runs this small shop selling clothing and paper goods that encourage their customers to live intentional lives; love this print for baby boy’s nursery

NIGHTIRE | An eco-friendly pajama shop based in London offering free shipping on ALL orders [even to the US]; I got this pair, pictured above, made of 100% bamboo, and love how silky soft they are.

PEAPOD & NATE | My friends from college, Lindsey, is a talented seamstress based in Boulder, Colorado who weaves together the cutest little girl twirl dresses and baby crib sheets and nursery bedding.

VICTORIA’S STORIES SHOP | My dear friend, Victoria, based here in London, runs the dreamiest travel print shop and each print is guaranteed to take you to some of the places we either yearn to visit or can’t wait to get back to! This Paris print takes me back to our trip there in 2017. She does ship to the US!

PRETTY PLEASE TEETHERS | A Black female owned business creating safe, natural and stylish items for your little one; seriously obsessed with how beautiful these products are but that most of them are made of silicone and free of harmful toxin and ingredients found in a lot of teethers and bibs! I’ve got a long list of items I’ll be snagging from Kelli’s shop!

THE INSPIRED STORIES | A small business based here in London that reminds you that you are the author of our own life by creating the most beautiful weekly planner you have set your eyes on; I personally have my eye on this one! Information on shipping can be found here.

BERRY & BRIE | Another Black female owned business, this one based here in London, that offers absolutely gorgeous grazing boards, boxes, and platters that are available for delivery within the M25! So thankful that we do and can take advantage of these, ha! Any other Londoners who may be reading should do the same this holiday season. Check out their Christmas offerings!

WHITE ELEPHANT DESIGN | Run by two sisters in Illinois and Louisiana, this little shop has been a digital destination when looking for a unique personalized gift; I’ve got my eye on this baby book!

NORFOLK NATURAL LIVING | a UK-based natural cleaning products company aiming to bring consumers safe products that are 100% natural, safe to use around kids, toxin-free, and recyclable! We have their dog shampoo and it smells INCREDIBLE!

DECLARATION & CO. | This little shop based in St. Augustine, Florida, not far from my hometown, is the most darling gift shop that aims to be the best gift concierge around made of quality products that suit the many needs of her loyal consumers. I have friends who rave about these candles!

BLONDE ATLAS TRAVEL | Many of you know my best friend, Whitney, runs a travel consulting business and has created this really fun online courses throughout the weird year that was 2020! While travel might not be on everyone’s agenda this year, I am hopeful for what 2021 has in store and think now would be a great time to start thinking about where you’d like to go! She has great courses on specific destinations, like Rome, Amsterdam, London and more, as well as courses like ‘how to become a digital nomad’ and ‘what is my worldview?’. If you’re looking to gift an experience this year, these might be a really great option until we can all get back out there!

ELYSE BREANNE DESIGNS | In a year like 2020, we are all looking for a little bit of happy. This little shop, based in Durham, SC, aims to do just that with their bright and fun stickers, planners, magnets, and calendars. I love this message.

HORSHAM COFFEE ROASTER | A UK-based coffee roasting company whose focus is to ethically source speciality coffee while also maintaining ethical environmental practices

FRASER & PARSLEY | A small business, based in the UK, run by a couple of best friends who aim to help you live beautiful and more organized life through their daily and weekly planners among other adorable goods like phone cases and stationary; I came across this recipe book and think it’d be such a great gift for a newlywed, mother-in-law or that friend who loves to bake up a storm!

SWEET NOTHINGS TREATS & FEASTS | If you are hosting the holidays here in the UK, this is where you need to go to get that one grazing platter out that is going to win you over with literally everyone! Thank me later!

I’m going to be sharing quite a few more over on my IG stories today but I thought I’d gather a variety of shops and items that I thought you girls would enjoy for a little gift guide! Some of them are items or shops I personally have bought from before and some are new to me but have stood out in some way! I hope you guys enjoy! As a heads up – some of the items aren’t able to be linked in the style board so be sure to check out the product links listed at the bottom of the post for direct links to those!

I also want to encourage everyone to save some of their shopping for Small Business Saturday, which is this weekend! And if you can’t buy anything, I know it means so much to these small business owners to just share about them on social or tell a friend who might be looking for something they make! Love you guys! xo.

Amen! So nice of you to elevate these small businesses. Especially when they’ve been really hard hit this year. I have a small side business and when someone told me she wanted to reach out to me before she searched Amazon…it meant a lot.
