There’s nothing like being wrapped up in some cozy cable knit. I can’t help but think that today’s “trend” is more of a cold weather staple. A “duhhh” item, if you will. It will never go out of style, a “classic”, kind of just like the little black dress.

I paired this cream cable knit sweater from Target last week and decided to pair it with some sequins. The ‘skirt’ is actually a dress, and I’ll admit … fits a little poorly, but ya know, sometimes you gotta work with what ya got! [Side note: I’ve been on the hunt for a perfect sequin skirt and am seriously contemplating getting this gold sequined pencil skirt from The Limited because 1. it’s to-die-for and 2. it’s on sale!] The sweater I am wearing runs a little big so keep that in mind if you opt to buy it. If you want it to be a little bit more fitted on you … size down, and if you like it a little loose … be sure to pair it with bottoms (skirt or jeans) that are more fitted.
