What can I say?
Florida heats up quick!!
Hence this outfit:
I think I have mentioned before
that I was in the market for some sort of replacement
for my Steve Madden leopard flats that were
in full rotation in the Fall and Winter months.
Well, I think I found it,
even if it isn’t a pair of shoes:
This Clare Vivier clutch is (easily) my new best friend.
I mean, we haven’t left each other’s sight
since she arrived after her 2-day air trip to get here.
(HUGE thanks to the sweet & amazing Clare Vivier girls
that made that possible! Loved the exceptional customer service!)
And she just gets along with all the outfits I style on a daily basis.
What more could I ask for?
I mean, she’s leopard, my print neutral,
so I shouldn’t be surprised.
My other clutches, however,
have developed a considerable level of envy
as they have noticed how often I chose her over them.
They’ll get over it. I think.
[Fingers crossed]
Y’all should know by now
my shopping rules.
I will not buy something
that is over $50 that I know
I will not wear often
and, thus, get a lot of use out of.
So, for me to, without question,
spend the $200 it cost me for this clutch …
… you can bet I will be incorporating it into a lot of my future outfits.
You will be seeing it in blog posts and Instagram photo’s galore!
So, I hope y’all like it, as well!
As for the rest of this outfit …
I actually wasn’t planning on shooting this outfit
for the blog.
But, I think that’s what made it more appealing to me.
I style outfits for these blog shoots,
(and I promise I would wear everything
that I style for shoots … I mean it’s all in my closet,
why wouldn’t they be outfits I would wear?),
but because it was what I wore to meet up with my
friend who photographs for me,
I felt like maybe this would be MORE natural
than something I just styled to be shot in.
Does that make sense?
I love really super stylish outfits
(lots of bright colors and juxtaposition,
like my ‘organic’ outfit)
but I also LOVE
super easy,
laid-back,
no fuss
outfits.
And that’s what this is to me.
