Wedding Guest Outfit Options Under $150

Hey there, lovelies!

Summer wedding season is underway and I’m sure quite a few of you have already gone to a few! I went to my friends’ formal wedding back in May and it’s always such a stressful venture trying to find something to wear that fits the type of wedding they are having. Then, once I find something I really like that fits the style of the wedding … I look at the price and realize it’s ridiculously expensive so I have to go back to the drawing board. So, I thought I’d do a bunch of digging for anyone who is looking for something to wear to an upcoming wedding in case you have had a similar experience in the past! I hope this makes shopping for this one a much more pleasant experience!

COCKTAIL ATTIRE UNDER $150

I tried to incorporate a variety of cocktail and semi-formal attire options within the ‘cocktail attire’ section.

FORMAL WEDDING ATTIRE UNDER $150

I seriously hit the jackpot when I found this little boutique called Morning Lavender. I had never heard of it before but they have a lot of great formal wedding dress options that are mostly between $70-$80! Keep in mind boutiques shipping time is often a little longer than large online retailers but, shipping is free when you spend more than $75 so that’s a nice perk! Also, if you purchase one of the options from Goodnight Macaroon or Chicwish, it’ll take up to 10 days to arrive to you so I tried not to include too many options from there.

I love the bubblegum pink dress I’m wearing in these photos. As y’all may know, I wore it to dinner one night on my recent trip to St. Thomas. I think it’s appropriate for a wedding that calls for cocktail attire. The only thing I likely wouldn’t wear to a wedding from this outfit is the bag I wore in these photos. I think your handbag should be a little more polished looking. I’d also recommend these shoes over the shoes I’m wearing in this post. I actually packed these shoes to wear on my trip and then accidentally secured them too tight and I popped the ankle strap off of the back of the heel. Whoops! But, anyway … the heel isn’t too high. They’re really comfortable to walk in and they’re under $100!

HANDBAG OPTIONS FOR WEDDINGS

Be sure to purchase your dress a few weeks in advance in case you need to exchange it or take it to the tailor to make it fit you perfectly! There’s nothing worse than throwing on what you bought at the last minute and finding it doesn’t fit right. It causes you to be insecure all night in what  you’re wearing and you should be focusing on helping your friend celebrate their nuptials!

If you’re pregnant and looking for a dress to wear to a wedding, I highly recommend you look HERE! I have never been pregnant but I always think that retailer has the best maternity clothes and they have some really adorable maternity dress options right now! Here are some of my faves:

I wrote THIS post last year on the 5 Do’s and Don’t of Wedding Guest Attire, so check that out before you get to shopping, as well! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by today, guys, and happy shopping! xo.
