Hi lovelies! If you’ve been here a while, you have probably noticed that I am always trying to find those classic staples for my wardrobe. I look for pieces that are versatile, elegant, and timeless. Since moving to the UK, I feel like that mission and effort has been made so much easier since becoming familiar with ME+EM, a UK-based brand that aims to make pieces that are functional and flattering for women. OUTFIT ONE

With warmer days ahead, I am looking forward to wearing breathable maxi dresses. This one takes the prize. It’s lightweight and breezy for those hot, sunny days. The iron free fabric is a big plus, as well. Here’s to not having to worry about wrinkles! It’s perfect for a picnic by the water or afternoon at your favorite cafe. I’m wearing it to the airport today as it offers comfortability without sacrificing looking put together. Did I mention it has pockets? 

OUTFIT TWO

This short sleeve top is delicate and feminine. The striped detail is a perfect look for summer and the lace trims add just the right amount of detail. It’s perfect for a brunch with friends or a stroll out on the town. With short puff sleeves, you’ll stay cool in these warmer months. I love that it also acts as a layering piece for sleeveless vests or sweaters in the colder months. Nothing says classic wardrobe staple like a piece that can be styled multiple ways!

This navy cropped pant is tailored and comfortable; the perfect duo we all need. With an elastic waistband and high waist fit, you’ll feel comfort all day. This is a great option for the workplace and can easily be taken to post-office drinks. I’m also loving the invisible zipped pockets; perfect for keeping items safe and secure. I paired it with a layering top I purchased from ME+EM a couple of years ago and this gorgeous cardigan I featured [also from ME+EM] last Autumn.
