Summer is upon us! I rounded up some great summer essentials that are sure to get you through your beach days, road trips and vacations successfully and without breaking the bank! Most of the items included are under $50 so be sure to take advantage of those before they are gone!

I can’t stress enough how important it is to protect your skin from the sun! I started using this amazing moisturizer with broad spectrum SPF 30 this week and I’m really liking it. It’s not oily and your makeup still goes on smooth on top of it. I highly recommend this powder SPF to apply intermittently throughout the day when you already have makeup on! I used it a lot over the last two months while traveling and being in harsh sunlight all day, along with wearing a hat. I included this advanced lip therapy stick but just note that it does NOT have SPF in it, so I’d only use it in when you’re in an indoor setting. If you need something to wear on your lips in the sun, I highly recommend this product! I also want to try out this after-sun aloe spray! I just found it and put it in my cart.

I mentioned last month, before my most recent trip to Italy, that I needed a bathing suit that does a good job of covering my backside. I’ve found the following brands to be brands that do just that: L*Space, Trina Turk and J.Crew. NOTE: The following are just examples from these brands but not necessarily all under $100.
