Hi loves!

If you love to follow my travels, you’ve probably gathered that I am particularly drawn to places with lots of pastel and bright colors. You know, like Burano, Bermuda, Procida, etc. My favorite neighborhoods to walk around in in London is Notting Hill and Primrose Hill, both of which are filled with colorful exteriors making up every street. So, while in Paris in 2017, it should be no surprise that I went in search of the most colorful street in the city!

And, guess what? I found it!

If you, like me, have an affinity for color … you will find yourself smiling all along your walk down Rue Cremieux!

Truth be told, I don’t know how busy this little street gets as we went early on a Thursday morning and there was literally no one in sight. You’d never know that it was somewhat Insta-famous.

Rue Cremieux, located in the 12th arrondissement, is just a short walk from Gare de Lyon train station. If you don’t have a lot of luggage, you could tick it off your list as you get into town. Victoria and I went on our last day and, while we were happy we got to tick it off of our list, it was kind of a hike from the 15th arrondissement, where we were staying, for such a short street. If you’re there just to see it and snap a few pics, you will likely be there for maybe 20 minutes so keep that in mind when assessing whether to go. Is it worth the hike you’re trekking when there are so many other things to see and do in Paris. For us, we had spent a week in Paris and both of us had been to the city before so we had had plenty of time to see a lot of the other highlights of the city, so we figured why not?

We went in October so it was pretty crisp in the morning. I had a coat over this outfit but took it off for the sake of photos. Apologies that all of the details of this outfit are no longer available but hope you can gain some inspiration from it. I wore booties, which I would typically advise against, but I had worn flats and sneakers so much that I figured my feet could handle one day in them.

This post may seem like a bit of a blast from the past, as the photos were taken in 2017 when I went to Paris, but … figured it could be helpful for anyone traveling to Paris who may be interested in checking it out! Plus, I have a bunch of travel content that I owe you so … better late than never! 😉
