Instagram Roundup | October 2020

Hey there, friends! I have recently decided to switch our Instagram Roundup’s back to monthly blog posts. This year has been such an interesting one with so many changes for me, personally. I’m just not taking as many instagram photos and sharing as much as I have in the past so having weekly IG roundup’s just didn’t make sense for myself and my team to put our energy into anymore. We have instead shifted a bit to do these monthly and share weekend sales each week over on Stories and in the LIKEtoKNOW.it app so be sure to follow me on Instagram and in the LTK app! Although, we will share weekend sales for the last weekend of the month here in these posts so that’s at the bottom for ya!

Alright, let’s get to this months’ IG posts …

Sweater dresses have quickly become my best friend this Fall season. They are so comfortable and perfect for a growing belly. I found a boot that is very similar to the ones that I am wearing for under $80.

Our time in the Cotswolds was so needed. John & I were so thrilled to get away for a long weekend to relax and celebrate finding out the gender our little one! Also, so many of you are loving this shacket trend just like I am! I love the cinched waist detail and the neutral color! Also comes in black & white.

Squeezed myself into these non-maternity jeans a few weeks ago and wow, that won’t be happening again for awhile! I absolutely love this jacket. It is so warm and comes in five different color options!

See I told you guys, sweater dresses and me are like two peas in a pod! So much so that I put together a whole blogpost on cute & affordable sweater dresses under $100.

I put together a blogpost of 8 things I’ve been loving lately and this picture is a hint as to what one of those things are!

One of the designer handbags I’ve gotten the most questions about over the last couple years (even recently!) is the one I have in this photo so I finally did a review of it (and two others that are perfect for Fall!) over on this blogpost. I know it’s a weird year and it might not be helpful for you now but it’s there for future reference if and when you want it!

If you are a 2020 bride, my heart goes out to you. I can’t imagine how emotional this year has been on top of all the other worries that 2020 has brought. If you’ve put your big day on hold, I KNOW that the extended wait will make your big day even more special when it finally arrives! And if you’ve been able to continue with your plans by carefully pivoting to ensure the safety of your guests without taking anything away from how special your day is, good for you and I acknowledge that in a lot of ways that also has probably been emotional. If you’re a guest at a wedding of one of those brides (from now to the end of 2020), I’ve heard your request to still share some wedding guest dress options. Please know that in fulfilling this request, it is not to encourage carelessness but to bless those who are looking forward to celebrating their loved ones safely. Head here to check out some wedding guest dress options for you to consider, like this one I wore two years ago that is still available in FOUR colors and I can’t recommend enough!

The face John sees when he tells me he’s making pasta for dinner. Check out the blog post I put together that is essentially your mini-guide to outerwear: where I’d recommend shopping, my tried-and-true outerwear faves that you’ll still see me wear this year AND sixteen options that have stood out to me this year!

Messy hair, happy heart! Happiest girl to have finally gone to the Cotswolds (and have finally gotten even the smallest bit of travel under my belt this year!! I could cry happy tears). My cozy tee is perfect for layering , is under $60 and comes in four different color options!

It was fun to be back in the area that I used to call home and that makes me swoon at every turn, especially in the Fall! My knitted tank is perfect for layering on colder days and is under $30!

Bundled up today in another neutral combo. I’ll try to switch up the color scheme some time soon but also can’t promise! I wore my first pair of maternity denim (under $40!!) and cannot believe how comfortable they are / I was all day long! Highly recommend if you’re also pregnant! I’m in a uk 6 (same as a US 2, I think).

I am still in awe of the beauty of the Cotswolds. I understand now why they have deemed it an Area of Natural Beauty here in the UK, and it’s even more beautiful with all of the Autumnal colors. In other news, this window pane scarf might be one of my favorite Fall purchases this year. It could easily go with 90% of the outfits I put together this time of year and into the Winter!

Cheers to ALL of you and a special little shout-out to all the boy mom’s! I was in tears reading all of your DM’s and comments about our gender reveal. Your kindness, encouragement and assurance that “you’re going to love being a boy mom” was just … everything I didn’t know my heart needed! I think, no matter whether your baby is a boy or a girl, you have little fears embedded in you deep down about raising that particular sex but your words eased those fears & made me feel more confident and even more excited than I was before. So, thank you for being such a loving community and for being a part of the celebration!
